Research Interests: Cultural Diversity Management

I am primarily interested in cultural diversity management in domestic organizations,
normally those that employ immigrants. These organizations are likely to experience unique
challenges due to possible tensions between “mainstream” locals and “inferior”
internationals. So far, research on diversity in domestic organizations has been largely
limited to race and gender, while cross-cultural management issues have been traditionally
studied in the context of multinationals and expatriation. By integrating these two subfields I
am hoping to advance the field of diversity management to the next level. Please refer to my
